ToursByLocals Launches Customizable Safari Tours with Advisor Incentive

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Canadian-based operator ToursByLocals has announced a new, fully customizable safari product.

Travel advisors can help their clients design experiences and earn a 5 per cent minimum commission with each booking made. To be eligible for the incentive, advisors must register here. Once an agency has booked CAD $9,700CAD worth of tours, ToursByLocals says the commission is raised to 10 per cent, and applied retroactively to all tours booked that year.

“Every tour is 100% private and can be tailored according to clients’ needs and wishes,” says ToursByLocals CEO Paul Melhus. “Whether that means seeing baby elephants in the Masai Mara, tracking a mountain gorilla in Uganda and Rwanda, or photographing the Big Five, an experienced ToursByLocals guide is ready to help you create the ultimate African safari.”

The guides on the platform offer safaris in all of the major national parks and reserves throughout Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda, Nairobi, Botswana, and more. Agents can communicate in advance directly with the guide who will be providing the tour, allowing for an extra level of customization with the provider.
