Exodus Travels Offers 50% Off e-Bike Upgrades for 2022/23 Cycling Tours

Exodus Tours CyclingExodus Travels is offering guests who book its small group and self-guided cycling trips by 31AUG 2022, for departures between 01SEP 2022 and 31DEC 2023, half-off the price of an e-bike supplement.

Available on 98 of the tour operator's cycling itineraries worldwide, the promo code EBIKE2022 must be used at the time of booking to upgrade to an e-bike. Exodus notes there are a limited number of e-bikes available on each departure - and the demand is growing.

Seeing "unprecedented levels of growth" over the last couple of years, e-bikes sales were up 145 per cent from 2019 to 2020, according to the market research firm NPD Group. And the growth does not seem to be slowing, with Deloitte projecting that between 2020 and 2023, 130 million e-bikes will be sold worldwide.

“A flexible and eco-friendly mode of transportation, e-bikes are a great way to do everything from tackling traffic jams, to exploring rugged coastlines, hilltop villages, and accessing far-reaching coastal views,” said Robin Brooks, Marketing Director at Exodus Travels. “It’s also a great way to reduce your carbon footprint while also providing a seamless way to immerse yourself in a destination.”

A few examples of cycling adventures where travellers can upgrade to an e-bike and take advantage of the current promotion include:

New for 2022, this nine-day self-guided cycling journey takes place along one of the most ancient pilgrim routes in the world. It starts at in Leon, the seat of Spanish Kings, full of cathedrals and convents. Cycling Vietnam

Travellers will ride from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in the south to the capital of Hanoi in the north. They will cycle on tarmac roads through fishing villages, rice terraces and mountains cloaked in jungle on this guided two-week premium cycling adventure. Shorelines of white sandy beaches await, with time to unwind on a tropical island at the Whale Island Resort. Following a unique circular route that highlights the many sights that the Cape Peninsula has to offer, travellers wind along roads with little traffic, past the coastline and interior, as they discover Table Mountain and have a chance to sample the wine from the estates of Stellenbosch. Along with the scenery, cultural history, flora, and wildlife encounters, guests will also visit Cape Algulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.
