Belize Tourism Board Celebrates Return of Seasonal Air Canada and Westjet Flights

The Belize Tourism Board celebrated that new seasonal flights by Canada's two biggest airlines have commenced, treating pax on early season flights with cupcakes, coffee and sunglasses this month.

Air Canada

Air Canada has reintroduced their seasonal route from YYZ to BZE. The airline will operate one flight per week on Sundays until 16APR 2023. On 11DEC, to celebrate the return of this flight, the Belize Tourism Board, in conjunction with YYZ and Air Canada, provided passengers boarding the flight with cupcakes, coffee and sunglasses to show appreciation for their support of the return of the route.

WestJet

Westjet, which has also expanded airlift to Belize as of 04NOV, furthering the accessibility of Belize within the Canadian market. On 09DEC, the Belize Tourism Board, YYC and Westjet also celebrated with cupcakes, coffee and sunglasses for Belize-bound passengers to show appreciation for the return of this flight and continued expansion of access to the destination.

Westjet’s YYC to BZE flight operates once per week and the YYZ-BZE flight flies twice per week through to APR 2023.
