Porter Airlines Announces YHZ as Newest Destination with Embraer E195-E2s

Porter Airlines is introducing its newest route, between YYZ and YHZ, using its 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

Porter has been serving the Halifax community since 2007. With the new aircraft, passengers can now choose to travel with the airline to either of two Toronto airports: YYZ or YTZ.

YYZ service begins 23FEB 2023, with multiple daily, non-stop roundtrip flights.

“We are growing our total number of Halifax flights across multiple routes by nearly 50% compared to pre-pandemic levels, averaging over 20 departures and arrivals per day,” said Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines.

Non-stop routes from Halifax now include YUL, YOW, YTZ, YYZ and YYT. A number of connecting flights are also available at various airports on Porter and its partner airlines.
