Ensemble Member Becomes Exclusive Wholesale Partner of Maasai-Owned Boutique Safaris

Ensemble member Personal Travel Management has announced it has become the exclusive North American wholesale partner of Boutique Safaris. A 100% Maasai owned company, Boutique Safari provides safaris that benefit the local community by providing jobs as well as interactions with at-risk children.

Through the partnership, Personal Travel Management will be able to offer clients unique opportunities and itineraries to experience the Gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda; Trekking with Donkeys on a safari to the Ngorongoro Highland; and safaris to the Serengeti National Park.

There is also an itinerary that includes a two night immersive experience where travellers can assist with ongoing projects Engaruka English Medium Primary School (EEMPS), built by owner of Boutique Safaris, Abby Olemisiko, in his hometown of Engaruka. Olemisiko implemented a luxury tented camp on the school grounds allowing guests to engage directly in school/Maasai life by interacting with the kids and helping the Maasai herd goats.

“What we loved the most after meeting with the Boutique Safaris team is their commitment to ensuring that local tourism is a force for positive change in their community,” said Darci Murray, Travel Community Manager of Personal Travel Management.
