In a delay to the debut of its international operations, Canada Jetlines is reportedly postponing the launch of service between Toronto and Melbourne Orlando International (MLB) airport, according to a local Florida media report that cites a release by MLB officials Friday, 10FEB.
Jetlines had originally been scheduled to begin twice weekly non-stop flights between YYZ and MLB on 19JAN, which was pushed back one month to 16FEB. But now, according to the MLB statement, "unforeseen operational issues" have prevented the launch of service, and that the postponement was "open-ended."
"Once these issues are resolved, (Canada Jetlines) will announce details regarding updated flight schedules," the airport release adds.
In JAN, MLB held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on a USD $72 million terminal expansion.
