10 Ways Karisma Hotels & Resorts is Upping the Ante on Destination Weddings for Agents

Karisma Hotels & Resorts has launched a comprehensive overhaul of its destination wedding offering to help agents sell romance travel easier and better. Here's how:

1.  A New and Improved Destination Wedding Website
The new site will streamline the user experience with a reimagined look and feel, making navigating and cross-comparing destinations, packages, and resorts more accessible. Enhancements will continue this spring.

2. Cash for Your Bash Client Booking Incentive Calculator
Karisma is reintroducing Cash for Your Bash, making it easy for guests to calculate their wedding incentives through the Cash For Your Bash Calculator. When booking rooms, wedding couples can earn up to $15,000 in wedding credits to redeem toward ceremony costs, cocktail parties, dinner receptions, wedding decor, rooms, and more. Wedding guests can score up to $250 in resort credits per room, redeemable toward spa services, candlelit dinners, and premium wine.

3. Introducing Island Weddings at Margaritaville Island Reserve
The Island Wedding Package elevates the wedding couple’s ceremony, literally, as they exchange their vows over the pool on a transparent platform with swaying palms and a salty breeze in the background. Available at: Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun, and the upcoming Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya.

Island Wedding Package
Cost: $4,999, and it includes:

  • Clear platform to go over the pool*
  • Four-pole wooden gazebo
  • Four sheer fabrics*
  • Welcome drink served to all guests upon arrival*
  • Hand fans placed on each seat
  • Cold-scented towel service for each guest
  • Personalized welcome printed ceremony program

Starting in MAR, Karisma is launching new experimental FAM trips encouraging agents to come to immerse themselves in the destinations and products firsthand.

Each FAM will include site inspections, special activities, a Wedding Dress Rehearsal presentation including setups, a wedding reception-style dinner, and a half day of leisure to enjoy the resort.
