Toronto Marriott City Centre and W Toronto have announced the opening of their newest outdoor venues.

On Deck, located at Toronto Marriott City Centre, is an open-air, covered patio situated at the hotel's entrance. The venue's 44 seats offer guests game day and non-game-day experiences at the Rogers Centre.

On game days, visitors can grab a bite from On Deck's "upgraded hot dog stand" with a manned barbecue and cold canned drinks. The patio will also be open on non-game days, with a menu featuring BBQ meats, salads, flatbreads, and handhelds, along with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

On Deck officially launched on 26JUN, 2023, and will operate from 4 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and 11:30 am to 10 pm on weekends.

"We are thrilled to introduce On Deck Patio, a unique and exciting addition to Toronto Marriott City Centre," said Ryan Soderberg, General Manager of Toronto Marriott City Centre. "As the only hotel located inside a major league stadium in North America, we are dedicated to offering an exceptional experience to locals, travellers, fans alike. On Deck Patio allows us to further enhance their visit by providing an unparalleled vantage point to soak in the sights, sounds and energy at the Rogers Centre with really fun food and drinks. We invite everyone to join us for a memorable time."

Meanwhile, W Toronto has reopened two outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy this summer.

The Yard, an urban patio designed by John Paul & Co. and featuring elements from Missoni Home, offers a garden party atmosphere with various seating options. Guests can choose between chaise lounges, loungers, dining tables under draped canopies, or relax in a Missoni hammock. The Yard will be open throughout the summer on weekdays from 3 pm to 12 am and on weekends from 12 pm to 12 am.

The Skylight Terrace, part of the Skylight Rooftop Bar and Restaurant, provides an upscale outdoor gathering space overlooking the lights of Bloor Street. It features relaxed, group, and high-top seating, as well as two garden birdcages with lounge seating for up to eight people. The Skylight Terrace will operate on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6 pm.

Catherine Velie, General Manager of W Toronto, said, "W Toronto has already cemented itself as a player on the Yorkville social scene. Now, in time for summer, our hotel's outdoor spaces offer even more dynamic options for travellers as well as Toronto locals looking for the perfect way to spend a summer day - and night."

More information about all three venues can be found at the Toronto Marriott City Centre and W Toronto.
