WestJet Reintroduces Kelowna to Las Vegas

WestJet Boeing 737 MAX 8.

WestJet is set to reintroduce a cross-border connection from Kelowna (YLW) to Las Vegas (LAS) for the first time since 2020.

Starting 15DEC, the Calgary-based airline will commence non-stop service between YLW and LAS, operating twice weekly.

"WestJet is proud to add yet another transborder connection to our winter schedule, between Kelowna and Las Vegas, as we continue to provide guests across Canada with even more affordable and accessible opportunities to escape the cold and find the sun this winter," said John Weatherill, WestJet's Executive Vice-President and CCO.

In addition to this new route, WestJet will now provide two direct international connections from Kelowna, which includes ongoing non-stop weekly service to Phoenix, Arizona.

Sam Samaddar, the CEO of Kelowna International Airport, lauded WestJet's decision: "WestJet's unwavering commitment to our region exemplifies the power of partnership in fostering our economic position."
