Nominations Open for Travel Institute's Educational Excellence Award

2023 recipient, The Travel Agent Next Door

The Travel Institute’s annual award nomination process is now underway with applications accepted through March 31, 2024.

The annual Educational Excellence Award, established in 2022, recognizes those organizations and individuals demonstrating a significant, ongoing commitment to quality education for travel advisors and making a substantial, meaningful investment to ensure delivery of education to the ultimate benefit of travelers and the industry.

Calls for nominations take place starting each January with judging based on utilization of quality educational content/programming, ongoing investment, and overall impact. Additionally:

  •         Any contributor to education in the travel industry is eligible
  •         Nominators may submit on behalf of colleagues, peers and/or also self-nominate
  •         A nominator may be asked for a brief interview to provide additional, relevant information

The Travel Agent Next Door, TTAND, was the 2023 recipient for its comprehensive approach to agent education and “quantifiable actions in ensuring their advisors are qualified to meet the ever-changing needs of our industry.”

Learn more and submit your nomination here. The 2024 award winner will be announced by The Travel Institute later this year.
