Collette: ‘Spotlight on South Dakota’ Sees Travellers Stroll through History

Mount Rushmore, Collette

Collette’s “Spotlight on South Dakota” is perfect for any traveller with an affection for history. Spotlight tours give travellers the opportunity to explore each destination to the fullest and get to know the area like a local. Must-see cultural highlights are always included, plus there’s plenty of time for them to explore independently, creating their own unique adventure. This tour is a great way for travellers to visit all of the essential historical landmarks throughout their stay in the Midwest.

Some highlights featured on the seven-day experience include: a stop at Mount Rushmore, a tour of the Adams museum in Deadwood, a Jeep safari ride through the buffalo filled backcountry of Custer State Park, and a stroll on the Presidential Trail. Travellers can book their spot on the “Spotlight on South Dakota” tour with a departure date as early as 10 May 2024.

“Our many Spotlight tours like ‘Spotlight on South Dakota,’ are fantastic for travellers who are interested in fully diving into some of the most wonderful areas in the world,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, CEO at Collette. “There’s so much rich history to take in surrounding Rapid City. It would be difficult for travellers to fully experience the area in just one day, so Collette takes a week to let them fully get into all there is to enjoy.”
