Rocky Mountaineer has launched a first-of-its-kind train journey experience in partnership with the Moab Music Festival to connect travellers with one of the most anticipated musical events in the Southwest. The special edition route, Sounds in the Southwest journey, will depart this Fall from 03-11SEP, 2024, offering an eight-night musical travel experience.
Sounds in the Southwest Package guests will begin their journey onboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer two-day Rockies to the Red Rocks rail route from Denver, Colorado, to Moab, Utah. Guests spend four nights in Moab, immersing in the award-winning harmonious fusion of music and nature at the Moab Music Festival, featuring stunning natural venues nestled among canyon walls, rivers and towering red rocks. Following the festival, guests will be welcomed back onboard for another two days of awe-inspiring American Southwest scenery through expansive panoramic windows, accompanied by world class hospitality.
The Sounds in the Southwest Package includes, but is not limited to, a round trip Denver Return Journey onboard Rocky Mountaineer’s SilverLeaf Plus Service, including exclusive access to the Rocky Mountaineer lounge car with live music entertainment and house-made cocktails. The package includes tickets to four Moab Music Festival programs, round trip music venue transportation, and destination sightseeing tours. Rocky Mountaineer is a daylight-only rail experience and guests will enjoy eight nights of hotel accommodations as part of the package.
