I would also like to nominate Austrian Airlines for the Height of Horsepatooties Award. (I made that up.) During a day of news flashes about one of the most venerable names in travel, Sunquest, reinventing itself; the Cecco’s chucking Total for Tuscany; Alan Graham flying the Air Transat coupe (hopefully with a parachute); I am stopped in my tracks to read about a lemon juice mixture being used to clean Austrian’s toilets. Stop the presses, Sally! This just in! The city of Vienna is just tickled about it and gave them a 'green' prize for the innovation.
Folks’ll go to any lengths to get ink, dahrlings. I once got a press release about a travel jacket that had – wait for it – many pockets! I think it's supposed to increase your Feng Shui.
I would like to bestow the travel industry environmental award upon CITC & ACTA for ridding the landscape of acronym clutter. Now that's Feng Shui.
