I’ve dropped my pants for a pilot once or twice, dahrlings. (They suspected me of carrying forbidden fluids.) But it really doesn’t compare with the plunge AF has had to take over the pilot strike.
The AF pilots have been holding onto the airlines’ short hairs since September 15 demanding they drop plans for cheapee carrier Transavia. So they did.
But, today, while Air France is tripping over their trousers still wrapped around their ankles - the strike goes on. Costing Europe's 2nd flag carrier €20 million a day. (It is interesting to note, Pumpkins, french pilots earn as much as $350,000 a year.)
I imagine Calin et al are watching this with great fascination. And perhaps just a touch of smug. When AC pilots raged over Rouge, the fur was flying. Things got heated. Words were spoken. And then everyone went back to work with nary a buttock bared.
What can I say, dahrlings? The French are so continental.
