MSC Cruises Canada has announced the appointment of Tammy Thompson as Business Development Manager for Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Thompson is based in Toronto.

“We are pleased to welcome Tammy to the MSC Cruises Canada family and look forward to working closely with her as she leads business development,” says Ian Patterson, Country Manager, Canada for MSC Cruises. “As a talented and seasoned manager of tourism marketing, coupled with Tammy’s enthusiasm for cruising, we look forward to seeing Tammy drive MSC Cruises towards new opportunities in the Canadian market.”

With over twenty years' experience in tourism marketing and sales both nationally and internationally, Thompson has managed operations in destinations for a large Canadian Tour Operator stationed throughout the Caribbean. She returned to Canada to perform national marketing for the Department of Tourism of a luxury Caribbean destination. Most recently, Thompson served as the Business Development Manager representing Barcelo Hotel Group in the Canadian market.
