Kristin Erz has announced her departure as the director of Sales at Hurtigruten Expeditions (HX) to assume the director of Expedition Sales position at Silversea Cruises.
"After 5 years, it's time for me to hang up my Helly Hansen jacket at Hurtigruten," Erz wrote on LinkedIn.
She added, "A heartfelt thank you to my dear colleagues (turned friends!) from the Americas teams I've had the pleasure of working with over the years. Thank you for your unwavering support, advice, encouragement, understanding, laughs, tears, and leadership. As cliché as it may sound, teamwork really does make the dream work."
Erz shared that during her time with Hurtigruten, she discovered her "passion for expedition cruising… and with that, the fuel and drive for growth."
"I really have had some of the best moments in my career at Hurtigruten," she added."I can confidently and proudly say that I brought this brand to life in Canada — connecting the Hurtigruten experience and company values for sustainability with our trade partners and mutual clients."
Highlighting her excitement as she takes on a leadership role at Silversea, Erz said, "I am thrilled to have joined the Silversea Cruises team as Director, Expedition Sales. It's such a great feeling to find that right fit where I can pair my knowledge and passion for expedition with true pioneers in ultra-luxury ocean and expedition cruising."
