Transat has announced that they have fully acquired TraficTours Canada Inc. as of 31MAY 2021. The airline had held 70% of TraficTours' shares since 2007, and have moved to acquire the minority 30% in a mutual agreement. TraficTours' current management is still in place to ensure their operations perform as normal.
Currently, TraficTours offers vacation services to travellers looking to go to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. This acquisition would most likely assist Transat in strengthening its service in those three regions.
