Antigua and Barbuda Setting Tourism Records that Beat Pre-Pandemic Levels

Antigua and Barbuda has just set an all-time visitation record, with just under 18,800 tourists visiting the destination in AUG, a record number for the month and above the previous record set in 2018. The AUG 2021 numbers rose above the 2018 numbers by nearly 1,000. This record-breaking month followed strong performance in JUL, when 23,405 visited to break Antigua and Barbuda’s record for that month, too. For AUG, U.S. travellers were the majority of arrivals at 52.5 per cent, followed by those from the U.K. at 39.5 per cent.
