Fiji on Track to Reopen at the End of 2021

The government of Fiji says it is on track to reopen for tourism by the end of 2021 as it has reached a vaccination milestone with 85 per cent of its target population receiving its first dose, and 28 per cent of the population fully vaccinated. Fiji is also on track to have 100 per cent of its population vaccinated with one dose by the end of AUG 2021. “The pathway out for tourism is through vaccination and this is yet another huge milestone for us,” CEO for Tourism Fiji, Brent Hill commented. Many hotel and resort employees across the region are also fully vaccinated.
