Hawaii’s Governor Tells Tourists to Stay Home as COVID-19 Surges

Hawaii Governor David Ige is urging tourists to restrict travel to the state due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. The state is currently placing restrictions on restaurant capacities and limited access to rental cars, resulting in Gov. Ige to tell tourists that if they arrive, they will not enjoy a typical Hawaii holiday. “It is not a good time to travel to the islands,” he said.
