Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom is set to undergo its largest expansion yet, according to Disney Parks, Experiences and Products chairman Josh D'Amaro.
The expansion will feature new attractions, restaurants, shows and more aimed at telling stories "Beyond Big Thunder Mountain" and similar in scale to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Pandora - The World of Avatar. Meanwhile, the Hatbox Ghost will begin haunting riders at Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion later this month.
EPCOT will also see several new additions, including a Moana-themed ride and a new nighttime spectacular in the World Celebration neighbourhood.
