SEP 2021 was the busiest SEP ever for arrivals at CUN, a sign that the city is recovering from a tourist downturn. According to airport operator ASUR, just over 1.66m passengers flew to CUN in SEP 2021, a 94 per cent increase compared to the same month in 2020, and a 4.4 per cent increase compared to the same month in 2019. 933,000 people flew in from international flights.
