Under Bob Iger’s Return, Disney Backtracks on New Fees, Costs

Shortly after the return of former CEO Bob Iger, Disney Parks backtracked on controversial new costs for resort guests.

On 10JAN, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida removed its additional nightly parking fee for guests at hotels, effective immediately, reports Frommers.

In California, Disneyland is lowering the admission price for select days, particularly on weekdays. Disney said "nearly two months" of calendar days would now be charged to the lowest price to visit one park at that resort. Also at Disneyland, guests with Park Hopper tickets will be able to switch parks starting at 11 a.m. instead of 1 p.m. starting 04FEB 2023. No change was announced for Walt Disney World, where guests can’t park hop until 2 p.m.
